Ben David

I feel grounded and at peace when I’m creating a moment for myself—especially when I know that what I’m making will serve someone else in theirs. My work is rooted in service: curating experiences, building spaces, and helping bring visions to life.

I’ve navigated my own path through trauma, addiction, and persistent mental health challenges, including a lifetime of anxiety. A recent head injury while bombing a hill on my skateboard marked another significant turning point in my journey. These experiences have deepened my awareness and strengthened my resolve.

Regardless of the job, I approach everything as a process—one I stay with until the vision is fully realized. I prioritize using recycled and reclaimed materials, whether from skip bins, secondhand sources, or Wastbusters. Sometimes, I supplement with new supplies from Mitre 10 when necessary. Working this way helps me connect more deeply with each piece—it becomes more than just an object; it becomes part of a moment.

I’m also passionate about photography and enjoy documenting the process as much as the final result. Capturing the feeling of a moment is just as important as the outcome.

I have a wide range of skills, but problem-solving is my most essential one. It’s something I practice daily, whether I’m learning more about materials, electronics, social dynamics, financial freedom, or how to support others in finding happiness. I’m here to help—and if I can't, I’ll let you know—but I’m confident in my ability to magnify ideas and help bring them to life.
